National Medical Commission to Begin a New Academic Session from Feb 2022

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has stated that the new academic session for comprehensive specialty courses will commence on February 1, 2022. The diploma and degree programs academic curriculum will be finished by December 31, 2023 and December 31, 2024, respectively. Students pursuing a postgraduate degree or a diploma, on the other hand, will be required to complete the course in 36 or 24 months, respectively. For the academic session 2020-21, NMC had previously extended recognized postgraduate (PG) medical programs by one year. According to the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), when a specific university provides identified PG courses for the academic year 2020-21, they will extend them for another year. They will be valid for one year.
