Vaccination for Covid-19 Beginning on August 12, Corbevax is anticipated to be offered as a booster dosage on the CoWIN App in public and private immunisation facilities. Private COVID-19 immunisation clinics charge $250 per dose, which includes the Goods and Services Tax (GST). The cost per dose for the end consumers will be 400 yen, taxes and administrative fees included. After gaining approval from the Union Health Ministry to utilise Corbevax as a heterologous COVID-19 booster dose for adults 18 years of age and older, the Hyderabad company made this claim. The vaccine can be given as a booster shot six months after the second dose of the first vaccination with either the Covaxin or the Covishield vaccine. The Ministry's decision was based on the suggestions made by the COVID-19 Working Group of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI). In a series of approvals from December 2021 to April 2022, Corbevax had obtained emergency use authorisation as a primary two-dose immunisation regimen in adults, adolescents, and children 5 years of age and older. The company has given the Indian government 10 crore Corbevax pills. The vaccination for children between the ages of 12 and 14 started to be distributed across India on March 16. Approximately 7 billion doses have been administered to date, and 2.9 billion children have received both rounds of immunisation.
