Description & Specification

This result oriented course offers a completely solved length Nationwide Mock test, (containing 145 MCQs) in CBT Mode which is similar to NTA CSIR-NET/JRF examination 2022 paper both in structure and pattern.   

The Nationwide Mock test has duration of 3 hours

The Test will consist of three parts. All the parts will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions.

Part A - The Aptitude Section will have 20 questions and contains questions pertaining to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc. 

The candidate is required to answer a maximum of 15 questions from Part-A. If more than required number of questions are answered, only first 15 questions in Part A will be taken up for evaluation. 

Part B - This part contains subject-related 50 conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus. The candidate is required to answer a maximum of 35 questions from Part-B. If more than required number of questions are answered, only first 35 questions in Part B will be taken up for evaluation. 

Part C - This part contains higher order questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem. 

The candidate is required to answer a maximum of 25 questions from Part-C. If more than required number of questions are answered, only first 25 questions in Part C will be taken up for evaluation. 

Kindly note that only one attempt is allowed and explanations of all questions of the three parts will be provided only after submitting the test online. 

Marking Scheme: 

Negative marking 25% will be made for each of the wrong answer. 0.5 marks will be deduced for each negative answer in the Part-A and B while in the Part-C 1.0 marks will be deduced for each negative answer. 

Importance of solving Mock Tests

Solving Mock tests will make you familiar with types of questions asked, the pattern of exam and marking scheme. It also helps you to prepare time management strategy during final exam which is very vital for appearing in any exam. 

These mock tests will be conducted in CBT Mode like the CSIR-NET/JRF exam therefore practicing MCQs in CBT Mode is recommended. 

Solving Mock tests helps you to identify your mistakes so that you can avoid them during final exam, overall mock tests build your confidence before appearing in exam.
